Are you applying to a UC school this year? Here are some quick tips to keep in mind and some resources to help as you start writing your personal insight responses:
- Application opens August 1, 2016 for Fall 2017 applicants
- Students may continue working on their application and will be able to submit November 1 – 30, 2016
- New personal insight questions!
- Eight available questions, applicants choose four (350 max word count on each response)
- These are shorter responses, so take out the fluff and get to the heart of YOU
- Give yourself time to write multiple drafts
- If you are applying to a specific program:
- Check for additional requirements within the program (check specifically on each UC campus’ website!)
- UC San Diego has six campuses, research online ahead of time to get a feel for what is right for you
