Casey Rowley Barneson has been working in the field of education for over 10 years working with families to navigate the college admission process from preparation and planning to applying and gaining admission. Casey is the author of The College Wellness Guide: A student’s guide to managing mental, physical, and social health on campus along with the Princeton Review and currently serves as the college counselor at Beverly Hills High School.

Casey holds a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne. She has participated on college advisory boards and served on the board of a non-profit scholars program providing access to students with limited college counseling, is an adjunct professor with the University of La Verne teaching college and career development to graduate students completing their Master’s in Educational Counseling and is a part of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and Western Association for College Admission Counseling as an active member and presenter. Casey was featured on Princeton Review’s 20 School Counselors Who Make a Difference in February of 2019.
As Casey works with families throughout the college admission process, she firmly believes in educating students early on in regards to their post-secondary options and choosing institutions that match their strengths and embrace their talents.
